Simple Knitting

There are plenty of simple knitting patterns available for the keen beginner knitter.

The beginner patterns that I post will be easy for the beginner, starting with simple garter stitch.

Garter stitch is the perfect stitch to start learning to knit. It is very easy to do and you will easily become comfortable with it and be ready for something a bit more challenging. Garter stitch consists of just knitting the same stitch for each row.

There are plenty of projects for you to make using garter stitch such as, booties, slippers, scarves, beanies, dishcloths, blanket squares of different colours to sew together, baby wear, fingerless gloves, toys, shawls. The list is endless!

A lot of projects don’t use up too much wool either. Booties, slippers and blanket squares can quite often be made from scraps. You can get quite creative using up your bits and pieces.

Be creative and enjoy!

This is a good business I think many of your readers who are in the field of fashion design will learn more and make additional money. Also, I have seen some people who take knitting as a hobby. You are doing a great job here but my only advice is to alway make your article to be up to five hundred words.

Thanks very much for your advice. My site still needs a lot of work on it and I do intend to make some of the posts longer. This is all new to me and I have enjoyed doing it but as a novice I have a long way to go. Thanks again and I will take what you say onboard. Much appreciated. I will check out your site too for feedback.

      Best wishes

I look forward to your future posts. I haven’t knitted for about 30 years but am looking forward to doing more now. I am not a good knitter, so the simpler the pattern the better. Need something to fill in time whilst traveling – sitting in the passenger seat with nothing in my hands at the moment…..

Thank you Kerryann. I often do a bit of knitting when on a long road trip. It helps pass the time doing something useful. I will be adding more content soon. Thanks for your feedback, I really appreciate it. I will check out your site too.

      Thanks again
